mono-fastcgi-server2 software package provides ASP.NET 2.0 backend for FastCGI webservers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-fastcgi-server2
mono-fastcgi-server2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-fastcgi-server2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-fastcgi-server2 *
You will get with mono-fastcgi-server2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
