How to uninstall or remove mono-apache-server4 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed mono-apache-server4 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove mono-apache-server4 

Uninstall mono-apache-server4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove mono-apache-server4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-apache-server4 
Use Purging mono-apache-server4

If you use with purge options to mono-apache-server4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge mono-apache-server4 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-apache-server4
