module-assistant software package provides tool to make module package creation easier, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install module-assistant
module-assistant is installed in your system.
Make ensure the module-assistant package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep module-assistant *
You will get with module-assistant package name, version, architecture and description in a table
