mlterm-im-scim software package provides MultiLingual TERMinal, scim input method plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mlterm-im-scim
mlterm-im-scim is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mlterm-im-scim package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mlterm-im-scim *
You will get with mlterm-im-scim package name, version, architecture and description in a table
