mimefilter software package provides Strips some unwanted MIME parts out of a MIME message., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mimefilter
mimefilter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mimefilter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mimefilter *
You will get with mimefilter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
