How to uninstall or remove microdc2 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed microdc2 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove microdc2 

Uninstall microdc2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove microdc2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove microdc2 
Use Purging microdc2

If you use with purge options to microdc2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge microdc2 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove microdc2
