mhwaveedit software package provides Simple and fast GTK2 sound editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mhwaveedit
mhwaveedit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mhwaveedit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mhwaveedit *
You will get with mhwaveedit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
