mgltools-support software package provides Update mechanism of MGLTools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mgltools-support
mgltools-support is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mgltools-support package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mgltools-support *
You will get with mgltools-support package name, version, architecture and description in a table
