metacity-themes software package provides Themes for the Gtk2 metacity window manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install metacity-themes
metacity-themes is installed in your system.
Make ensure the metacity-themes package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep metacity-themes *
You will get with metacity-themes package name, version, architecture and description in a table
