mess-desktop-entries software package provides Desktop entries for MESS ROMs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mess-desktop-entries
mess-desktop-entries is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mess-desktop-entries package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mess-desktop-entries *
You will get with mess-desktop-entries package name, version, architecture and description in a table
