How to Install mercurial-server software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

mercurial-server software package provides shared Mercurial repository service, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mercurial-server 

mercurial-server is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mercurial-server package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mercurial-server *

You will get with mercurial-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
