menu software package provides generates programs menu for all menu-aware applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install menu
menu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the menu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep menu *
You will get with menu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
