melting-gui software package provides graphical interface to compute the melting temperature of nucleic acid duplex, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install melting-gui
melting-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the melting-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep melting-gui *
You will get with melting-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
