meep-mpi-default software package provides software package for FDTD simulation, parallel (OpenMPI) version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install meep-mpi-default
meep-mpi-default is installed in your system.
Make ensure the meep-mpi-default package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep meep-mpi-default *
You will get with meep-mpi-default package name, version, architecture and description in a table
