mediatomb-daemon software package provides UPnP MediaServer (daemon package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mediatomb-daemon
mediatomb-daemon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mediatomb-daemon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mediatomb-daemon *
You will get with mediatomb-daemon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
