med-bio-dev software package provides Debian Med packages for development of micro-biology applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install med-bio-dev
med-bio-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the med-bio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep med-bio-dev *
You will get with med-bio-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
