mdm software package provides Utilities for single-host parallel shell scripting, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mdm
mdm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mdm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mdm *
You will get with mdm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
