maven2 software package provides Java software project management and comprehension tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maven2
maven2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maven2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maven2 *
You will get with maven2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
