mariadb-test software package provides MariaDB database regression test suite (metapackage for the latest version), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mariadb-test
mariadb-test is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mariadb-test package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mariadb-test *
You will get with mariadb-test package name, version, architecture and description in a table
