$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mapnik-vector-tile 

mapnik-vector-tile is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mapnik-vector-tile package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mapnik-vector-tile *
