mandelbulber software package provides 3D fractal renderer and animator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mandelbulber
mandelbulber is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mandelbulber package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mandelbulber *
You will get with mandelbulber package name, version, architecture and description in a table
