maliit-keyboard software package provides reference on-screen keyboard for the Maliit framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maliit-keyboard
maliit-keyboard is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maliit-keyboard package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maliit-keyboard *
You will get with maliit-keyboard package name, version, architecture and description in a table
