maildirsync software package provides simple and efficient Maildir synchronisation utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maildirsync
maildirsync is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maildirsync package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maildirsync *
You will get with maildirsync package name, version, architecture and description in a table
