maas-test software package provides Utility to test hardware compatibility with MAAS, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maas-test
maas-test is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maas-test package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maas-test *
You will get with maas-test package name, version, architecture and description in a table
