How to Install m4 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

m4 software package provides a macro processing language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install m4

m4 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the m4 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep m4 *

You will get with m4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
