How to Install lzop software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lzop software package provides fast compression program, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lzop

lzop is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lzop package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lzop *

You will get with lzop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
