How to Install lxmms2 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lxmms2 software package provides control XMMS2 with a LIRC compatible remote control, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lxmms2

lxmms2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lxmms2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lxmms2 *

You will get with lxmms2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
