lua-event software package provides asynchronous event notification library for Lua, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua-event
lua-event is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua-event package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua-event *
You will get with lua-event package name, version, architecture and description in a table
