lua-cjson software package provides JSON parser/encoder for Lua, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua-cjson
lua-cjson is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua-cjson package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua-cjson *
You will get with lua-cjson package name, version, architecture and description in a table
