How to Install lsb software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lsb software package provides Linux Standard Base 4.1 support package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lsb

lsb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lsb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lsb *

You will get with lsb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
