How to Install logtool software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

logtool software package provides Syslog-style logfile parser with lots of output options, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install logtool

logtool is installed in your system.

Make ensure the logtool package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep logtool *

You will get with logtool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
