live-boot-initramfs-tools software package provides Live System Boot Scripts (initramfs-tools backend), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install live-boot-initramfs-tools
live-boot-initramfs-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the live-boot-initramfs-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep live-boot-initramfs-tools *
You will get with live-boot-initramfs-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
