linux-tools-powerpc64-smp software package provides Linux kernel tools for PowerPC64 SMP, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linux-tools-powerpc64-smp
linux-tools-powerpc64-smp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linux-tools-powerpc64-smp package were installed using the commands given below,
