linux-tools-lts-trusty software package provides Linux kernel versioned Tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linux-tools-lts-trusty
linux-tools-lts-trusty is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linux-tools-lts-trusty package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linux-tools-lts-trusty *
You will get with linux-tools-lts-trusty package name, version, architecture and description in a table
