How to Install linphone software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

linphone software package provides SIP softphone - graphical client, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install linphone

linphone is installed in your system.

Make ensure the linphone package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linphone *

You will get with linphone package name, version, architecture and description in a table
