linkchecker-web software package provides check websites and HTML documents for broken links (web client), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linkchecker-web
linkchecker-web is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linkchecker-web package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linkchecker-web *
You will get with linkchecker-web package name, version, architecture and description in a table
