lightdm-remote-session-freerdp software package provides Session and configuration to login with FreeRDP, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lightdm-remote-session-freerdp
lightdm-remote-session-freerdp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lightdm-remote-session-freerdp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lightdm-remote-session-freerdp*
You will get with lightdm-remote-session-freerdp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
