libzlcore0.12 software package provides ZLibrary cross-platform development library (shared library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libzlcore0.12
libzlcore0.12 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libzlcore0.12 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libzlcore0.12 *
You will get with libzlcore0.12 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
