libzita-alsa-pcmi0 software package provides C++ wrapper around the ALSA API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libzita-alsa-pcmi0
libzita-alsa-pcmi0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libzita-alsa-pcmi0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libzita-alsa-pcmi0 *
You will get with libzita-alsa-pcmi0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
