libzbargtk0 software package provides bar code scanner and decoder (GTK+ bindings), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libzbargtk0
libzbargtk0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libzbargtk0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libzbargtk0 *
You will get with libzbargtk0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
