libxmu6 software package provides X11 miscellaneous utility library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxmu6
libxmu6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxmu6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxmu6 *
You will get with libxmu6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
