libxml-filter-detectws-perl software package provides Perl module for detecting ignorable whitespace, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxml-filter-detectws-perl
libxml-filter-detectws-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxml-filter-detectws-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxml-filter-detectws-perl *
