libxine2-misc-plugins software package provides Input, audio output and post plugins for libxine2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxine2-misc-plugins
libxine2-misc-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxine2-misc-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxine2-misc-plugins *
You will get with libxine2-misc-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
