libxine2-console software package provides libaa/libcaca/framebuffer/directfb related plugins for libxine2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxine2-console
libxine2-console is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxine2-console package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxine2-console *
You will get with libxine2-console package name, version, architecture and description in a table
