libxine1-misc-plugins software package provides Input, audio output and post plugins for libxine1, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxine1-misc-plugins
libxine1-misc-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxine1-misc-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxine1-misc-plugins *
You will get with libxine1-misc-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
