libxine1-gnome software package provides GNOME-related plugins for libxine1, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxine1-gnome
libxine1-gnome is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxine1-gnome package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxine1-gnome *
You will get with libxine1-gnome package name, version, architecture and description in a table
