libxerces-c-samples software package provides validating XML parser library for C++ (compiled samples), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxerces-c-samples
libxerces-c-samples is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxerces-c-samples package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxerces-c-samples *
You will get with libxerces-c-samples package name, version, architecture and description in a table
