libxcb-keysyms1-dev software package provides utility libraries for X C Binding -- keysyms, development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxcb-keysyms1-dev
libxcb-keysyms1-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxcb-keysyms1-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxcb-keysyms1-dev *
You will get with libxcb-keysyms1-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
