libwps-dev software package provides Works text file format import filter library (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libwps-dev
libwps-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libwps-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libwps-dev *
You will get with libwps-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
