libvlfeat-dev software package provides Computer vision library focussing on visual features and clustering, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvlfeat-dev
libvlfeat-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvlfeat-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvlfeat-dev *
You will get with libvlfeat-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
